Default A real IMAP client for BB?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there

Is there a real IMAP client available for the BB devices?

I am asking because I find the integration, except BES, to any other IMAP account very, to say the least, bad. I can not browse any folders or alike with an IMAP account. I know the BIS does only pick up mails and forwards them, but therefore my question.

Thank you.

if you wanted FULL access to email via IMAP...you need to get a PDA, not a blackberry. what makes blackberry so wonderful is it's reliability and simplicity. it pretty much always works...no settings to tinker with like with a Windows Mobile OS

yes but it would be nice to work with other email formats like IMAP

Yes it's very reliable but it also needs more flexibility in terms of other email systems besides BIS.

Cheers

I admit it has alot of bugs but i use it as a backup. Its useful for checking email addresses that you do not use that often anymore and do not need push email for. I ran into a few bugs but hey it is a free app. Did you manage to find any other solutions because i have been looking.

**EDIT** well I guess i found another app that works similarly for BlackBerrys. its called iMobileMail™ : : Mobile Email Application to Read IMAP & POP3 (AOL, Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmal) Emails on Cellular/Mobile Phones (BlackBerry, Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, and Others)
