Exclamation Error Code 1327 when installing Desktop software

I just bought a Pearl from AT&T. When I try to install the Desktop software, I get "Error Code 1327 Invalid Drive F:"
Now. I have two iPods, a Nano and 30GB. If I plug in the Nano, I do not get this error. What is wrong, and how do I fix it since I don't currently have access to the Nano?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Note: The OS versions are "as is". I have not upgraded or updated anything on the BlackBerry, and it was bought two or three days ago.
