i want to buy a blackberry. i have two questions. i hope you can help me and sorry for my bad english.

1. I need a possibility to record voice messages an store a huge amount of notes in the system. i am writing my notes very much w pen and paper.

2. i dont need a gps navigation system and a photo camera, so this feature can be disabled

whats the other difference betw. 8300 curve and 8800 other than the camera and gps system.

it seems that the differences are

8300 = has camera an no gps
8800 = has no camera but gps

my question = is the software on both devices the same? the features (calendar, notes, sms, etc. ) seems to be the same.

Yes, they both have the same functional software at their own version.

is it possible to extend the memory of the devices? perhaps via memory card?

You can't expand the system memory but you can add a microSD card for media and so on.

The core functionality of all BB's is pretty much the same. There are some small differences from OS version to OS version.
