Default BES & Service Providers

Dumb question for you folks, should be a simple answer.

I'm the admin for a BES with only 12 users. We have 12 7280s that we purchased from Cingular and currently have data plans through them.

One of my users works in the construction side of the business and consequently carries a Nextel phone in addition to his 7280 and his personal phone. Hoping to consolidate devices, can I reuse his 7280 on someone else and get him one of the Nextel 7520s? Is there going to be any issue with connecting his unit to the BES since he uses a different provider than the others?

While I'm pretty sure there will be no problem I just wanted to make sure before I pulled the trigger. I realize that I'll be short one client license on the BES so I'll need to pick that up but that's no big deal. I'm just a bit wary due to the fact that we bought our BES software from Cingular and I have to call them for support.

What's the verdict?

It should all be fine... BES only talks to the handhelds through the RIM Relay which is not carrier specific...

I have Bell, Telus and Rogers handhelds on one of my BES servers...
