Has anyone tried this? Or know if there's 64-bit drivers available/in the pipeline?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7290/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/5.1.2.9)

I had installed the x64 version of XP but I did not set up my BB 7290 on that machine. I had so many issues getting other applications and anti virus software to work on this that I didn,t try. Anyway, let us know what you find out.

I finally bit the bullet and installed Windows XP Professional x64 Edition on a second hard drive, and indeed my BlackBerry wont sync with it. The software installs fine, but there are no 64-bit drivers for the actual handheld when you plug it into the USB. I can only hope and pray that RIM releases suitable drivers soon (I'm not holding my breath, though).
