Hotness! I just installed the trial version of PocketDay and am loving it. I might wait for the new version 5 to come out prior to purchasing it. Still have 30 days in the trial. Great program.

It looks great! I just bought a license about a month ago. Will I be able to upgrade to the new version free, or would I have to pay again?

Version 5 will be release sometime in July. If you purchase now the upgrade will be free.

Suggestions, from using version 4.25 and seeing these screenshots:
1) Improve the battery level and signal level graphics/icons. They are not as crisp and smooth as the default BB icons on my 8800.
2) In addition to the above, perhaps increase some of the spacing between the icons, especially when charging. The little lightning icon overlaps items to the right of it when active. Perhaps, put the lightning icon overtop the battery and when it's fully charged it disappears.
3) Possibility of having a ledger view split with the other sections below (a la Agendus for Palm). This would be great for seeing the day at a glance with times versus just a listing of the day's events.
That's it for now...

Two things I've been looking for since moving from Windows Mobile to BB:
1. Ability to convert e-mails to tasks and / or appointments
2. Better task management (e.g. group tasks by Category).
Looks like number 1 is half way there!
Just curious...would you be able to add conversion to tasks? To me, that would be used much more often than convert to appt.
This is looking like a great app!

We've already added the ability to convert emails into tasks. We're looking into category support. BB OS 4.2.2 is required (Curve/8830 only for now)...

Is conversion to tasks in the current version or V5?
Maybe you guys will be the ones to incorporate the advanced task management I mentioned earlier in this thread ;)

I purchased April 7. How far are you going back for free upgrades? I'm hoping this version clears up the constant stalling that I see when trying to get to the main screen. It's a good application, but the delay does make it a tad frustrating sometimes.
Also, will this be integrated with Empower so that pulling up e-mails will show in HTML? Thanx.

I've been using the Dimension Today screen for over a year. I love the large clock vs. the zen theme. Is it not possible to have a large clock/date on Pocket Day?

OK...I've got a couple of questions...
First...what is the big difference between PDLists and Tasks? At first glance...I jsut downloaded the trial of lists.
Second....why is PDLists not integrated with the personal version? I really don't need Pro for the extra cost, but so far I like PDLists.
I had the PDpersonal verson on trial (just expired) and want to buy it...but...I'm curious about the list function first.
Thanks!

PDLists allows you to create many free form lists of information with custom fields, snoozable reminders, etc. PD Pro is designed for add-ons not personal. It's just the way it is. You still have to purchase PD Lists even if you have PD pro. It's an add-on.
In the next version we may allow PD Lists to integrate if you've purchased both.

Any update on when we might see a Beta of PD5?
Some questions on the integration of Contacts with Tasks and Calendar items.
> I would like to see a menu pop up if I click on a Calendar item or task that ask me if:
1-Open the Item
2-Call the Contact
3-e-mail the Contact
4-SMS the contact
Thanks,
Mark

If PD5-personal will allow integration with lists, then I'm clearly buying both. Otherwise I'm just going to stick to PD.
Kudos for. Writing one of the best apps on the market!

Here's a suggestion on PDList:
I know that you can insert a contact as part of a Task but it needs to be taken a step further and ask you to pick a phone # from the contact to call. This way, when you go to your PD List, you don't need to switch out to the address book, search for the person, pick the #, and dial the person. This would be the best enhancement for PDList that I can think of....unless you can already do this and I am a fool who could not figure this out.
