Default Application Loader

Please Login to Remove!

I have loaded on several 3rd party apps to my 7100 with OS 4.0. After I loaded the programs (which I saved to the desktop) I deleted them.

I just went to add another program but when I go through the application loader it tells me it will add the new program but it is going to delete some of the other programs I had loaded previously.

Is there a way to override this?

Any help would be great.

When you run App Loader, it checks what's loaded on the device against what App Loader knows you have (what you see checked on the Handheld Application Selection screen). It will remove anything it finds on the device that is unchecked or that it doesn't recognize. There's no way around this. You have to put the apps back into App Loader.

Do they have to be placed in the same spot where you loaded them from (i.e. if I had them on the desk top do I have to keep them there or can I move to a differnt file and it will seek the programs out?

App Loader won't seek them out. From the Handheld Application Selection screen, click Add, browse to the app, and select it. When you finish, the app will show up on the Selection screen and it will be checked.
