Been answered many times over. This is a common problem with used BBs from eBay or from some other seller.

The previous owner did not close out their BIS account so the IMEI and PIN are still loaded there and email is being sent. I am very surprised that you were able to set up a BIS account.

You should first contact the previous owner and have them close their BIS account. If that fails, then you will need to contact that carrier and try to convince them that you are the new owner and to clear that account. Last resort is to go to RIM and see if they will do it.

yes, i have search first before i post, but usually that's because they can't registered their handheld due to the prev user hasn't released / change handheld..
but on my case, i can setup my bis account, and the prev user has been using new blackberry (i suppose he already performed change handheld procedure)..

but i'll ask him again to make sure, many thanks for your answer

If you were able to register the pin on your BIS site then no other emails should be coming to the device besides yours. Is it possible that these messages are PIN messages? If someone has the PIN then they can send messages directly to the BB.

Good call. Didn't think of that. I wonder if the yahoo and clarksonline messages are forwarded to a PIN also?

How are these emails arriving to your BB? You should be able to see what account they're being delivered through by looking at the header (Received Using).

Well, guess it's time for your data support group to escalate the matter to RIM...
