Question Reply from another account

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I am running (and have access to) our own Small Business BES Server 4.1 - running Exchange with a handful of devices. All is well ...

At the moment I get all my Gmail/Hotmail/etc forwarded to my work addy and filtered into a folder. Obviously I can't reply without it appearing like it's from my work addy.

I just wondered if there was a way for my BB to pick up 'other' non work mail and 'reply from', so I could choose which account. I read something about this being possible ... remember i'm using my corporate BES.

Any leads would be appreciated.

I'm on a 8800 ... and very nice it is too My carrier is o2 and in the UK (if you need this information!)

S.S.

(I do have Google mail for BB, but that's not the same things as it's web based) ...

You've complicated your life unnecessarily. Stop forwarding your external email to work and just add them as separate email accounts to the BlackBerry. Then when you reply to ANY email, you can move the cursor up to "Desktop" and click to select any of the configured email accounts to send from.

Ditto Flashman. Using the BB as it was intended to be configured would un-complicate the matter and give you the functionality your BB was intended to have.

IIRC you'd have to forward (instead of reply) to select the account you're replying with.
