ALT + ESC key combination Hi guys, I have a little more experience with Pocket PC (sorry) than BB (which I now love, btw)...so I can only compare because of my past experience. I know in PPC you can go to Settings>Memory and look at running apps and close them down, I guess just to free up memory. In BB, I figure the ALT+ESC is similar? I ask because if I access a bunch of different apps, I can ALT+ESC, select them and then close them, but then there are some like the browser and messages icon that I can toggle to and then wheel-click and close...but no matter how many times I do this, the broswer and messages icon are always in the "list" of apps in the ALT+ESC feature. Am I just being picky, that I'd like to see them not appear on this "list" of "active" apps when I know I selected "Close" from the wheel menu? The Home and Phone icon, I guess I figure ALWAYS have to be there, by why the Messages and Browser? I launched Tasks or Notes and I was able to close those...why can I not close Broswer or Messages? I was going to add this question to this post but my question was general and not specifically 8700 related (at least I don't THINK it is). I have an 8700g with TMO if that matters (but I'm sure it does not). Thanks. |
Wirelessly posted (Thumpers 8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105) Home, phone, messages & browser are always available. This is only an issue if you feel you're running out of memory, which I have yet to see happen. |
