I see some that have questions about details envolved with the "tweaking" of Outlook on their blackberry - but I don't even no where to start to put my Outlook onto my device - any help? Please?

Wow. What a question. You have a LOT of homework to do. Outlook does not go on the BlackBerry. The BlackBerry has its own operating system. You "sync" the BlackBerry to Outlook for contacts, notes, tasks and calendar (under certain circumstances). Start off by reading the Sticky Threads.

Lightbulb Nice answer

Why did I know that someone would basicaly say, "Check the search button stupid." I have done that. Yeah I have a lot of homework to do. Does anyone want to come off their high-horse of BB knowledge and help a lowly NEWBIE?

Tried the search button bud, and the only thing that comes up is techincal questions regarding people that have already "SYNCHED" their info - I would like to get to the "SYNCH" phase please - then maybe I can ask some question of relevance to the all knowing on this site.

Sorry bud, I don't even know where to begin. Have you read about the BlackBery Web Client (BWC)? Where did you come up with the concept, bud, of "tweaking Outlook"? You need to set up a method for forwarding your e-mail from your original e-mail account (how do you get e-mail today) to the BB. There is a very good sticky thread by Mark Rejhon on the four methods of forwarding e-mail to your BlackBerry.

Here is the thread - FAQ: What Are The Methods of Receiving Email On BlackBerry?

Good luck, bud. Gotta get back on my high horse and go to work now.

If you install the CD that came with the BB it would have answered some of the questions tyou are asking. Syncing is the easiest of tasks its what happens when you connect the BB to the usb cable and the cable to the computer. Run the destop manager and it will sync everything for you. Thats the basic steps explained in the owners manula that was in the box when you open the BB.

The guys arent on the high horse as you call it that was just such a basic question that could have been answered with out ever even coming to the forums. All the info is in the manual that comes standard with every BB.
