hi, i just got a 7250 with Verizon and had a few questions.

1. is there a way to make the backlight automatically turn on when any keys are pressed on the phone? i find it a pain in the ass to having to keep pressing the backlight key whenever the light goes out...

2. i am new to blackberry OS, what exactly is it capable of? can someone give me a sort of a review of some of its capabilities? can it be a multimedia device like play mp3s? etc... etc..

3. AIM, MSN.... I cant find AIM for blackberry, i thought AIM had one for blackberries but apparently i cant find it these days.

Hi and welcome. Lesson number one: use the Search button. All of these have been answered over and over and over. Anyhow...

1. Search on bbLight. I think it will do what you want.
2. It does e-mail. Very well. A few third party application (and growing every day). Check out Handango.Com. No MP3s. No Video. No beaming. No Bluetooth data transfers.
3. Search on Verichat or Rambler. There are a few IM programs out there now.
