Even when I delete mail, reconcile and purge on my Blackberry 7780 runnung 4.0, I receive the following message on my desktop"

"You will soon exceed your email storage capacity. In order to send or receive new email, you will have to delete some messages" If I am near a desktop, I can easily delete my inbox, but can't do so from the BB. I called AT&T and they said the only way to delete from my mailbox was to phonecall them and do it - if I am not near a desktop. I will be oversaes and don't want to have to call ATT.

Under options/reconciliation I have:
Delete On: Mailbox & Handheld
Wireless Reconcile: On
On Conflicts: Handheld wins

Under Handheld Wins: I Press Purge Deleted Items

Make sure that you are deleting them from your "deleted" folder as well.....

easily fixed go to your blackberry web client (bwc) and under folder options, click manage folders. auto delete deleted folder under 1 day and your sent 5 days and reciever 15 days, all under autoage. hope that helps
