Default 7100t Shortcuts for Messaging documented!

Please Login to Remove!

Hope this helps someone, I was going nuts without my shortcuts in Messages.

Now there are multiple ways to move top/bottom and I think one of them is going to be previous day and next day and not really Top and Bottom. I'll have to wait until after midnight to find out which one is which!

2 is up,
8 is down,
5 is select/open.

1 takes you to the top. (Was: T on old bberry)

7 takes you to the bottom. (Was: B on old bberry)

9 is down one page.

3 is up one page.

6 is the top and 4 is the bottom too. Hrm. This one is probably "previous day / next day" but not sure yet.

L/, to compose new email

A/S to reply-ALL (answer?)

Q/W to reply to sender (write?)

./O/P to forward message

YOU DA MAN! I've been waiting for this! Thanks!!! I'll give 'em a shot!

edit: I think 4 and 6 are different than you stated. When I'm in a message, and I press "4", I go to the PREVIOUS email message..."6" takes me to the NEXT email message. That rocks!!

By the way, I feel REALLY sheepish about this.

You see the book that came with it? The Welcome Guide? Some of these are on the inside fold-out part of that.

I don't feel so bad yet, it doesn't look like all of them are on that card

Apparently 1 and 7 will always be 'top' 'bottom' buttons on the 7100.

Tools: Help is great, but the folder structure is difficult to navigate through to see all the tips. I wish there was a PDF version or something so I could browse through all this stuff on the PC. Or print it out for reference until it becomes second nature.

Having said that, everyone needs to read Tools \ Help \ Tips!

Okay Bollar, you seem to have all the answers. :P How about this one: You know how some of the icons in the ribbon are lumped under a category (for example, 'tasks' is under 'applications'). Is there a way to move one of these to the top level?

:P I wish I knew the answer to this one. I'm ready to hide the phone and browser icons since there are buttons for them and replace them with something more useful (like Texas Hold-em)!

You reminded me. There is actually a user guide that is more complete than the pamphlet that T-Mobile provides....
