Question Search EMails not available on device

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

is there any possibility to search for mails on my Exchange-Server (+BES 4) via BB? The BBs seem to search only the content on the device (no attachments, usually limited to the 2kb on the BB).

Any help appreciated.

Bye!

no. the bb takes the folder structure down but nothing else. Although there is the pre population, so you should get 200 old emails or 5 days worth.

If you are looking to view e-mails from your personal folders (even if stored on your hard drive), it is possible since my 7290 on a BES is doing it. While in the message listing click the track wheel and select "view folder". You should get a list of folders including personal folder which you can click to expand and see your list of folders. Select one and you should see a listing of all items in that folder, then you can search in that folder. I have not figured out how to do a single search of all sub folders in personal folders . . . it does not look possible yet.

On mine, the last 60 days are available in each folder which is what I have the retention time in my in-box set for.
