Unhappy Sending/rec email on BB via BT email address - HELP!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all

I am a BB newbie and have a few questions?

Can I receive and send email for an email address obtained from the ISP 'BT' aka British telecom - my email ends with @btinternet.com. BT have an agreement with Yahoo so it is the Yahoo engine (mail.yahoo.com) I log into to check my email with my Yahoo ID being [email address]

I know there is Yahoo Mail Plus thats give POP access to your mail I just cant find out if I can send mail from my BB via the [email address]
email address.

Thanks in advance
Dylan

You could log into the mail.yahoo.com page on your browser (if you have one) to send mail. Or, use BBReply to show your BT address while sending from your Blackberry.
I have an old Yahoo account, and they "grandfathered" us, so I can use the POP access retrieval on the web client for my Yahoo account. The $20/year for the Yahoo plus is also a great deal,

Hey there

Does that mean when I reply from my BB on an email that was sent to my Yahoo/BTinternet.com email address it will reply with my BB email address but NOT my Yahoo one assuming I do not use the browser?

Within BWC you can set up the from and reply to addresses so it will look to the recipient as if it came from your btinternet.com email address. The two options are broken up into the Profile and Options within the BWC interface.
