I looove my 8800. I loved my 7520 and my 8700 too, but nowhere near as much as I love my 8800. I like how slim it is and the battery life is amazing. The GPS works great and has been soooo helpful (I can get lost in my closet)

My one wish is that I could save docs to my SD card and attach them to e-mails- I don't use the media functions

i'm sorry, but the 8700 needs to win here. it is STILL the standard business issued device...has TONS of features and a FULL QWERTY.

also...it is the FIRST RIM device after the whole patent shenanigans and it boosted up RIM's stock tremendously. everyone loves the device and it is sturdy.

GO 8700!!

Have to agree... Even though I picked the 7290 1st, the 8700 is a hair line behind in my opinion and might just be the best BB ever made...

The pearl certainly changed the game. Everything else follows behind. IMO

The curve is nice and does more, but it doesnt have that "cool" factor like the pearl. I know blackberries are corperate, so that why im saying "IMO"

Even though I have the 8100, I have to vote for 8300 since that's my next phone when it comes out for T-mobile.

I heard good reviews on it and it's small with full size keyboard.

While I love my Curve/8300, I cannot deny my love for the classic BlackBerry 8700.

I find this poll rather surprising.... Thus far the 87xx is in the lead after 121 votes cast...

3 new devices have been released since the 87xx series.. 2 qwerty and 1 suretype! The 87xx has no media functions, no camera no GPS ect yet it is in the lead... Anyone else shocked?

Kris

The 8703e for sure.
The 7520 for it's build quality.
I would add the Curve but I don't have one yet.

I agree and that's why I am surprised it's lagging behind in 4th place right now... The 81xx changed the demographics of the BB sceen... My son (15-years-old) had been drooling for an 8100 and now that he has one all his friends drool over it...

Who'd a ever thought BB's would be all the rave of tweeners, teenagers, and yuppies???

I am not saying that is all that owns the 81xx, but it has attracted a whole new crowd to the BB world...

Kris

Yes I am aware of that, but where are you going to put all that media with no microSD card??? Even with 4.2 the 87xx is very limited in media function and IMHO is not why a user will or would buy and 87xx...

true true, i was just stating the fact that it does have some sort of media function. you're right...no one who has sense would buy the 8700 for its media functions haha. the 8700 is the standard business issued device, you won't see lots of teenies running around with it haha

I was not expecting the current results of the vote .. I figured the 83xx and 81xx would be fighting for top honors but the 87xx is top dawg thus far...

The numbers are likely skewed towards the 8700 simply because it's been available for a much longer time, and there's more of them in circulation than the 8300.

I would imagine that many people who answered 8700 have never used an 8300 ;)
