Default Reliable Hosted BES?

Please Login to Remove!

About a week ago I signed up for hosted BES with a small Canadian firm. Although the firm was very nice it seems quite small and I experienced an outage yesterday. The company'e entire web site was down for a short time, which made me nervous. I like to stay connected via email.

I quickly (perhaps too quickly?) switched to Mailstreet. I switched my DNS and after 12 hours or so for propagation was back up on Mailstreet. I did a search here and saw that Mailstreet had an outage earlier this year that lasted about a half a day. I did the research after I selected Mailstreet - which I know seems backwards.

I would like to know from others here how reliable Mailstreet is. If I am going to switch I'd prefer to do it soon and settle in for the long haul with the most reliable hosted BES provider I can find. Although I do care about price reliability is more important to me.

I welcome hearing about the experience of other BB users with hosted BES.

Thank you

MailStreet has been reliable for me for the number of years that I've used them but they did have that outage that you mentioned which affected a number of their customers.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I was wondering if that outage was part of a pattern. It seems like it wasn't.

I've been with MailStreet now for at least two years. I remember the outage, but I don't remember that it lasted as long as a day and a half. And that is the only instance of anything like that happening at all. Their customer service is outstanding. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. You made a good choice.

I have used MailStreet for 2 years, I have 2 company accounts with them and so far they have been very reliable. Tech support has been excellent as well. I don't recall the outage mentioned above lasting more then one day for me...actually I think it was less then a day. Overall, I am very pleased with their service.

Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like I made a good choice. Tech support through my set up process was patient and accurate.

You'll find that's pretty typical, when you need them. The good thing is you won't need them very often.
