Angry Synching with Lotus Organizer 6.x

Please Login to Remove!

I have been working with a user who just got a replacement blackberry (8700g).

Our mail client is Lotus Notes 6.5.5

Typically we put the user on the BES server and have them do an enterprise activation and they are all set. This time, the user is receiving mail just fine but she doesn't sue the normal Lotus Notes calendar. She use Lotus Notes Organizer.

No problem, I disable wireless redirection for the calendar on the device and set the calendar to lotus organizer. i choose her organizer file and do a synch. Everything looks to be processing, it goes through the file and starts pulling info over. The synch finishes, i have the user check the calendar's blank!

Ok, I change the Organizer from Synch to import and set it to pull everything, not just future entries. I also set it to confirm adds/changes/deletes. it goes through the synch again and I get the popups for the adds to the calendar. It processes, finishes, had user check the calendar and............STILL blank!

I go into the backup/restore and check the advanced. the Calendar shows 3801 items. I clear it out and do another full synch. I get the popups to accept the adds, synch processes and finishes and yet again the calendar on the device is blank.

The user is on is an 8700 software v4.1.0.346 and BB desktop manager as far as i can tell the organizer file is v6.x

I'm really at a loss. Normally we don't support this kind of synch in our enterprise but the person is VERY high up on the food chain.........

So......anyone have any idea what is happening here? I would like to avoid calling RIM if I can help it.
