Default Blocking websites?

Please Login to Remove!

We just purchased several BB Curves from AT&T.

Currently, we are not using BES.

Is there any way to block access to certain websites from the Blackberry browser?

Not really without BES/MDS. IIRC with such a setup your proxy server would really control which sites are accessible.

It seems like it could be done with a 3rd party app for BIS users though....

You say that this can be done via BES? It allows you to blacklist sites?

Do you think the same thing could be done if using HOSTED BES? Does anyone have experience doing this with a HOSTED BES solution?

I don't need quite that functionality. We simply need to blacklist the common webmail providers (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) for compliance reasons.
