Hi, everytime i meet someone and add there number then save it, the number defaults to their work number. Is there a better, faster way to add someone who only has a mobile without first opening a new contact and then entering the number?

What I normally do is dial the number, then click the BB button and "add to address book". From there I add the name, etc. I find it better than actually having to open the address book and taking it from there.

i do the same, but it always saves the # as a work number, and not a mobile number... thoughts?

That is just the way it works, defaults to "Work".

Why? Maybe because BB was first designed for business, and not for....?

I'd email . It's probably something that's not on their radar even with their push into the consumer market.
