Default Getting red X when trying to send email

I know why it's happening - my corporate email is limited to 150mb and when I'm over that limit, I can't send any emails. I can continue to receive, but not send. If I'm on the road for the day, I can't log in to my corporate vpn to clean out my outlook.

Is there a way to permanently delete emails from my blackberry? If I view my deleted items folder on my bb, it's empty.

Thanks

I dont think the 150mb is referring to the amount of storage you are currently using. I think it refers to how much you transfer. So no amount of email you you delete will get that back because you have used it already.

No, I think he is referring to his inbox size. It's the same in my company, but I only have 20 MB, can you believe that? So if my exchange folders grow beyond 20mb, I still can receive emails but not send. I would love to have a functionality of permanently deleting emails from my device, so it REALLY is deleted on the server as well. If I am on the road and some nutcase send me a 10MB pdf or Powerpoint, I am stuck.

It's really awful to live with these limitations.

inbox, sent items and deleted items - max 20MB

Regards,
Ralf
