I knew these things were tough...

I am riding to the gym this morning on my motorcycle (you see where this is going).

Long story short, I feel my right front pocket where my BB formerly was, and it is no longer there. Holy crap. I turn around and go back, and found the device, the battery, and the back to the device maybe 40 feet apart in the middle of the highway. I was doing about 70 where it came out.

Put it all back together, and it works. Lots and lots of pretty deep scratches, but the display is perfect, all the keys work, and the phone still works.

Wow! You're lucky nobody was traveling behind you, or your device might be a whole lot thinner!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Dropped mine down a flight of stairs at work last week. Couple of dings on the corners, but other than that you'd never know.

It always amazes me how well built these are.
Working in law enforcement, it is hard to find equipment that is "cop proof".
But, the Blackberry devices have proven to be as close to this as is possible.

This just ADDS to the fact that RIM makes a FANTASTIC handset! BY FAR the bast phone, AND PDA I have ever have the pleaseure of using. The CDMA 83XX will probably be "the 8th wonder of the world"!!
I'm in need of a "12 step Program" to help me with my Crackberry Addiction!
