BES 4.0.7.8
Exchange 2003 SP2
Blackberry Config SQL 2000
Windows Server 2003 SP1

Hey All-
I will be upgrading my Blackberry environment from 4.0.7.8 to 4.1.4 shortly. I was wondering if there is anything I should know, or be worried about with this kind of a leap. My config database is on a remote SQL 2000 server and I have four BES running 4.0.7.8. 13 Exchange 2003 SP2 server in the environment.

Also, I can run 4.1.4 on Windows 2003 SP2 correct?

You should have posted in the BES Admin section. Perhaps a mod will move it.

Yes, it runs perfect on server 2003 SP2. You need to get the upgrade guide from RIM's site.

Ah yes, the subforum hand slapping... what a wonderful thing. Anyhow...

I have the update documents but I have been doing this for a while now I nothing ever goes the way they say it should in the upgrade documents. Just trying to get some other experiences. I thought I read somewhere that you should do the ladder upgrade and install 4.1 first then apply the hot fixes but also have read not to do that. Any suggestions?
