Question Operating System Upgrade OTA

Please Login to Remove!

Folks,

Stupid question time, but has anyone been able to deploy the BB OS OTA, and if so, how was it done?

I have upgraded BB OS versions before, but have always had to do this hardwired via USB.

I am in a BES 4.1 enviroment with Exchange Servers, with 8700, 8800, 8300 and 8707 devices respectively.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Firmware upgrade OTA is not available at this time

RIM is planing to get these things to work in BES 4.1 SP4 and handheld firmware 4.2.2.? or greater

FYI: 4.2.2 is NOT available for other devices than the curve and the 8830 at the moment and it does not work work for the curve right now since the firmware the curve has reached is lower than the required base version.

Im wondering how many data is transmitted OTA during firmware upgrade...
