Default New here & On-Line-Banking, hummmmm.....?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm fairly new (well, brand new - and completely hooked by BB - to think I used to chuckle at those BB people - boy, was the joke on me!) Withal, I'm wondering about doing on-line banking and "credit card" stuff via the BB.

Is is sort of thing recommended, not recommended? I have no idea. I occasionally need to move money about for business reasons.

I can reach my banks and CC companies without problem both through the BB browser and Opera Mini.

Is this prudent? I would appreciate your opinion.

I do it. I'm sure it's not generally recommended, but I don't feel any less safe doing it over my BB as I do if I do it over my wifi network.

I do it as well, but pay close attention to the icon indicating a secure connection

Thanks - had not thought about the "secure" connection thing.

Good tip!

Online banking works, although sometimes better in Opera Mini than in BlackBerry Browser. Depends on the banking site. Some banks already have a WAP website, that usually loads much faster. Try that one first, although it has more limited features.
