WHat is the website that I need to go to in order to setup a ? My blackberry redirector is not working and I want to try and set it up so that I can forward my work email to my BB.

I have Cingular service btw.

Can someone explain in idiot terms how this works....

I set it up. It put another Icon on my blackberry desktop. I entered my work email address and netword password that i use to logon at work. How does it pass emails from my work email to my bb?

Also I do not need BB redirector or any other programs for this to run right? It automatically passes emails to my BB?

if you set it right, then you good to go, no need for redirector. try send a test e-mail to yourself

it seems to be working now....

Does this automatically sync with my Outlook at the office?

Also, I am assuming this begins sending emails to my BB when I activated it? It doesnt send emails from previous right?

Correct on both points.
Yes, emails will automatically be delivered to your Blackberry.
It starts from the point of setup. You won't get any emails prior to when you set up the BIS service.

BIS doesn't do anything other than get email to your BB. It doesn't reconcile (exceptions are with Yahoo, gmail, etc) and it doesn't sync.

You're correct in that only new mail is delivered.

On my gmail BB setup.. I have it set to 'On conflicts: Mailbox wins' and in the BIS website, I have Synchronize deleted items between this mailbox and my device checked. Whenever I'm at the computer at home and my BB away charging.. Sometimes I go into gmail and delete new email from my computer. I go back to the BB device and that email is still showing up as new. How long does it take for it to "reconcile?"

It could take an hour at times. It is routinely quicker than that, but don't be surprised if it is longer.
