Default Multiple email delete in Outlook not reflected on BlackBerry

Please Login to Remove!

I regularly delete multiple unread emails at once in Outlook (highlight 1 email, select several at once, then hit shift-delete to permanently delete), but emails deleted this way are not reflected on the blackberry (8700 connected to BES 4.1.3.16). They remain present and unread on the blackberry.

If I do the same with already read emails the problem does not exist (emails are deleted from the blackberry automatically).

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If I manually delete (still using shift-delete) each email, one-by-one, then the problem doesnt appear, but I find this frustrating when wading through a lot of junk emails first thing in the morning.

I suspect it could be due to the BES not keeping up with rapid changes in outlook??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How long are you giving it to show the changes? Are they there permanently? Or if you choose "reconcile now" on your BB, do they delete?

Also...how do you have the settings on your BB....for the "On Conflict" choice, what is the option set to?

The blackberry registers the email as being deleted when it hits your deleted items folder. If you hit Shift+Delete to delete an email, it won't be removed from your blackberry.

...same thing happens if you move mail to a PST. If BES can't "see" it it can't be reconciled.

2 hours or so. Yes, they are there permanently. Reconcile now does not resolve the problem. On conflict is set to mailbox wins.

Shift-delete on one email works fine. Shift-delete on several emails selected at once doesnt.

I was using a PST prior to moving to a mailbox and it worked fine apart from a few issues with client side rules.
