New User, BES help please
 

I am looking at purchasing a BB8800.
I need this to sync with works server for outlook contacts, calendar etc, which I gather it will do.
I also need to sync my email which I am quite happy to pull rather than being pushed to the devise.
However I gather I will still need BES software on my PC & register.
Will this incur further monthly costs on top of contract with Tmobile?
Will it also interfear with our MS based sever??

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

First off, email doesn't sync on BB's and it's always push -- there is no pull option.

Whether or not you need a BES data plan depends on whether or not you company uses BES. Have you confirmed this?

You don't need BES software on your PC. BES is a server application.

If your company does use BES you will need a BES data plan and it does cost more than a BIS-only data plan.
