Default Typing issue

I have the 8800 Blackberry and something crazy happens when I type on it. If I type an "a" and hit the space bar, the "a" is then replaced with "on on". Does anyone have a clue with what this is?

thats autotext

go to options=>autotext and delete the 'a'

or from messages go to options=>SMS and disable autotext

I looked in my Auto Text and I didn't see any smartcase set up for an "a". I went under my options key in the messages and didn't find anything about SMS to disable. Could there be something in the service books I can delete and then maybe reapply?

Not it is not Autotext.

You have accidentally set your Language Input to "Catala".

Go to Options > Language > Language Input > English.

That can be set accidentally by pressing ALT + ENTER simultaneously, the shortcut method to change language input. If you do it again, I believe you can tell it do disable that shortcut.

Good luck.
