Default IT Policy???

Hello, I just downloaded GoogleMaps and it says gmaps wants to access an internal connection but its not allowed in my IT policy. What is an IT Policy and how can i edit it?

I suggest you do a search. It has been answered many times.

Basically an IT Policy is something that is placed on your BB by your company using BES which can prevent you from doing certain things. Most are there due to security concerns and company policies, such as no personal email on a company device.

If your company is paying for the BB, then you need to talk to your BES Admin or IT Staff. You really shouldn't take them off or try to work around them.
