Is this even possible? I went out yesterday and bought a new 7100G from Cellular One/Dobson. I have been able to get the Blackberry Webclient working, but unable to get the desktop redirector working. I called Cellular One about this issue and was tranfered to "Tier 2" Data Support. They told me that Cellular one does not support Blackberry Desktop Redirector because of the problems associated with it.
I purchased this / was sold this, because I knew I did not have BES available and that the Desktop Redirector would work fine for me. I am also the exchange administrator here at work and can go the add contact route to forward all of my email to my device. This is not the method I had envisioned using when I decided to purchase this device.
Does anyone have any ideas? When I install Desktop redirector the status window halts at "Verifying Forwarding Address" I have checked the Blackberry KB's for information and have come up with a document that describes my problem perfectly.
Black Berry Support KB-00011
I have tried everything on the list and verified that my exchange setup is working perfectly. I am running Outlook 2003 and Exhcange 2003 Enterprise...
Does anyone know if any of the hosted BES solutions would allow me to mirror my current exchange account (tasks, calendar, email) to the hosted BES solution. I need to keep my corporate email account the same.
Please... some ideas for a noob (whom used the search might I add

)
