I began using my BB 7520 with the Desktop Intellisync, I've now moved to BES, but this problem exists in both environments. My reminder alerts no longer work in Outlook (2003), they work fine on my BB. I keep getting the following Outlook error when I first launch Outlook:

There was a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders may not appear. Cannot locate recurrence info for the appointment.

We've done a calendar/reminder cleanup in Outlook and that fixed it for the day, but once I got back into Outlook the next day, the same problem was back.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Try the following

1st -> do a good (i mean good) cleanup of your calendar, usually the culprit are old meetings that had too many modifications, then close and reopen outlook (important)


if that doesnt help, find the offending meeting with the following steps

-> create a "Calendar" folder in your Personal Folders

-> move ALL you meetings to that folder (choose "By Category" view, it lists them all)

-> CLOSE (File | Exit) OUTLOOK and reopen it (THIS IS IMPORTANT, if you skip this, it will not work)

-> maybe a bunch of reminders from other sources will now pop

-> start transfering your meetings from the Calendar folder in your personal folders
back to your Calendar ** transfer only by 1-5 items at a time **
(since the error msg will not say WHICH meeting is corrupted)

-> 1 or more meetings will give you errors , retransfer them back to your personal folders calendar, do not put them back in you Calendar, because they are corrupted
