I lied...after resending service books some emails came in that had been sent throughout the day but none to the [email address]. Also, I sent an email to each of the addresses attached to my phone including a gmail acct and they aren't coming through. Resent service books again to see if that might push them through and no luck. I can send emails though...

Putting my .02 in...

My BB emails aren't coming in. Test message to myself sent 10 mins ago still hasn't arrived. And for once it's not because I live in the middle of NFW......(No-Friggin-Where), Alabama!

A flood of emails came through after resending the services books. So I tried some test emails after that and none of those have came through yet.

Whoever said BIS is ENTERPRISE? You want a service with enterprise reliability, buy a BES.

EDIT: Oh. That's how you do it. *giggle*

BIS down for me in the SF Bay Area on VZW.

Could it be they are prepping for the BIS 2.4 rollout?

Simply sending the service books flooded in my emails earlier but no new ones came in after that. I deleted the service books and resent them and got some more emails. Now, I am able to send out successfully. We'll see if it holds.

Deleted / resent service books and all email functions are working again.

The only problem I had was when viewing some old emails that came flooding in, the BBerry showed an error that "More request could not be completed, no service book info found."

When I scroll up into the headers, under "Received Using" it says "unknown." I don't get my option to delete from mailbox and handheld. I simply get a prompt to delete or cancel. hmmmm.....

Let's hear it for RIM. I thought those losers said a national outage won't happen again like it did a few months ago or last year... whenever that was. I guess they were WRONG!!!

I wonder if their stock fell today because of this. One can only wish.

Update....I deleted the service books again, deleted my gmail account and recreated it and then resent the service books. Now, email is showing up using the correct "Send Using" etc. and my prompts are working correctly. So far, so good. Again, we'll see how long it lasts.

One or two emails slipped in today but generally nothing. I deleted my service books, reset my BB (pulled the battery), re-registered with the network (from the Host Routing Table), resent my service books, and still nothing. It's now 4:45 PM in Manhattan.

I spoke too soon. I rec'd the Activation emails, but nothing else.

I hope this is not a dumb question, how does one delete their service books? I searched the forums quickly, but didn't really find any solid guidance.
