Default calendar wireless synch option missing

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8830 and using BES from my company to synch my Outlook calendar, mail, tasks, and memos. Everything was fine until I tried to do a desktop synch with my home computer. Since then I do not have the option to do a wireless sync for my calendar. My mail, tasks, memos are all fine are being updated between my work computer and my BB.

Did I somehow eliminate the option to do a wireless calendar sync? How can I get it back.

TIA and really like these forums.

I had to reset my BB and then reactivate the BES. Working fine again.

Not certain if this is what you meant or not, but I delete the user off the BES, re-add them and let Enterprise Activation finish, then the options are there for wireless synch for calendar, address book, tasks, etc.

The Desktop[CICAL] service book may have corrupted as that is what controls the Calendar wireless sync. The only other way to do it would be to apply an IT Policy to disable calendar wireless sync and I doubt that your admins would have enabled that.

You can always try to delete the service book and generate a new encrytpion key wirelessly or have one of the BES Admins resend it from the BES.
