Default How many digits is the Blackberry unlock code?

Please Login to Remove!

Is the code the same number of digits for every provider?

Inquiring minds want to know...

The unlock code for a BB is calculated based on the PIN and IMEI number of the device.

Im gonna go out on a limb here, but since the PIN and IMEI are different for each device - the number of digits could vary.....

I recently unlocked two blackberrys from Cingular. I got a 15 digit code for one and 16 for the other. Both worked without a problem so there is no definite number....16 seems to be very common however.
