EDGE...or should it be edge

EDGE down for me in Detroit..is it just me? I wish there was a site to go see the network status!:?

Don Lulko 09-25-2007 05:56 AM

ATT EDGE seems to be down

I show the EDGE network as down as well - I am also in the general Detriot area.

paulbblc 09-25-2007 06:19 AM

Service down in Minneapolis/St. Paul as well.

MajorTom 09-25-2007 07:22 AM

Another RIM Outage?

Looks like we are down in Indianapolis as well!!:-(

catch22 09-25-2007 07:28 AM

Another Detroit-area user, No EDGE here either.

bix 09-25-2007 07:30 AM

Columbus As well

Nothing here in Columbus Ohio...

swatkins1 09-25-2007 07:34 AM

AT&T is having issues everywhere.

PabloTX 09-25-2007 07:35 AM

edge (AT&T) appears to be working in Houston, but I haven't had any mail delivery since yesterday afternoon. Resent the service books and nothing.

limey 09-25-2007 07:37 AM

Yep, nationwide outage

Just confirmed with AT&T (fwiw) and they have a nationwide issue with data and data routing.

JSanders 09-25-2007 07:52 AM

Up here: I am old Cingular, Birmingham, AL, BIS, and no issues, receiving mail all night and this morning.

BlackberryEMS 09-25-2007 07:54 AM

I spoke with Technical Support, it is reported by at&t that there is a RIM to GPRS network connection issue throughout their system (at least that is what I was told).
So...I guess another cup of coffee might be in order!8-)

SloBurn 09-25-2007 07:55 AM

No dice in Kansas City. MO either......

I am having the same issues in Springfield MO. Anyone have more information?

All I can say is that at least it isn't my BES. My bosses were all up my grill this morning.

Thanks for this list, audit! I have already subscribed. (y)

I subscribed my Bosses to the BB-Outage list so they can see what's going on and they know that it's not something to do with our BES. It also helps that we have a few users on VZW and they are getting e-mails just fine including one of my bosses so that's another way for them to know it's not the BES.

Glad you find it usefull. I just wish we'd get more people subscribed to it and get some people from the carriers or even RIM subscribed so they can post when there's an outage. Then we don't have to worry about posting to different forums to find out if there's an outage or not.

Aroc 09-25-2007 08:36 AM

I woke up this morning and determined 12 of my 17 handhelds have no connection (ATT and reliance in India). The remaining three of the four are receiving intermittent email delivery (ATT) my sole T-Mo device appears unaffected.

I opened a case with ATT (edge rather than EDGE). They gathered some specifics and statistics from me (since AT&T says RIM wants that). I'm on hold with RIM now.

The confirmation I'm getting from AT&T is that there are "intermittent nationwide outages for RIM on ATT in the U.S." That's all I know. Hopefully RIM will have more.

San Antonio as well is down.
