Default 8700 adequite, or spring for newer 8300?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7290 now, and it works great. I LOVE it. Got is "slightly used" off ebay for cheap. I am now "contract free" and loving it even though I have had Pac Bel / Cingular / AT&T for 10 years now.

Anyway I really would like to have a camera. It would help a lot at work. All I do is email, text, and talk....that's it. Ringtone and music mean nothing to me really.

My question is, should I get another "slightly used" phone 8700c as an upgrade to this one, or spring for a basically new 8300? Are the new ones better enough to warrant the cost? Remember, I am trying to avoid resigning for 2 more years with AT&T...just in case...

I love the 8700 it is awesome! Having said that you can find the 8300 here in the buy sell trade sectin for fairly cheap and with the 8310 coming out maybe even cheaper! I'd go for the 8300! If you have been with ATT that long why worry about a contract?

I, too, love the 8700. It handles all my needs at this time.

I agree with ezrunner. If the camera will help, go 'head and get an 83xx device.

Also get something newer than an 8700 if you want the micro-SD card slot.
