Default how to share my calendar??

Please Login to Remove!

I'm having trouble sharing my calendar with my dispatcher at work. I have a 7520 & BES. In the past my dispatcher could get into my calendar & add data to my daily appointments. Now she cannot & says I have to share/invite her to my calendar from my end. Can anyone help me accomplish this?

Is this the message she receives when trying to access your calendar in Outlook? If so then I believe that might be a software issue.

The message you mentioned didn't show up on your post. I don't think she gets a message, she just said I need to do something to allow her to have access to my calendar. Any ideas?

Sorry, when I looked at the wording of my post I can see how it would be confusing. What I should have said is that in order to have access to your Calendar in Outlook, I believe you need to share it with her via an Outlook process. (if you are using Outlook.) Then she will be able to see your calendar and make edits, which will then be synched with your BlackBerry.

To share my calendar in Outlook 2007 I bring up the Calendar, then go to File > Folder > Share Calendar. This then allows me to choose someone to send the invite to.

And all this is true if you are both on Exchange and using BES....Not sure about 2007 outlook but with 2003 you'd right click on calendar, Properties, Permissions etc...

Wireless synchronization of the Calendar is only available for BES users. I think the OP wants his co-worker to be able to update his calendar via their Desktop PIM program (Outlook I believe) so that those updates will be pushed to his BlackBerry. Therefore he has to share his calendar with the co-worker, so that she can edit it from her computer.

Is that correct wadecool?

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Now, how do I do that?

Are you using Microsoft Outlook? If so, what version are you using?
