Default Dialing the letter X?

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how do dial the letter X or did I discover a flaw? I tried to call Xbox Support at 800-4MY-XBOX on my BlackBerry and noticed BlackBerry would not dial it properly. I guess the X is exclusively reserved for extention.

I just dialed it; did you hold down the ALT key when pressing the "X" (8 key).

What model BB and what version OS are you running?

Works fine on my 8830. I use it for Smart Dialing people at my company.

On an 8800 4.2.1.79 when I type the number it displays as 8004MYxBOx (notice the lower case x) and it dials 800469.

That's an older version of the OS - that could be part of the problem. I believe the latest version is 4.2.1.101.
