Question Newbie: Can I synch PEARL w/2 PC's?

I'm sorry to be posting on this site, but before I chase my tail with installation on my home computer....should I wait to install it on my work PC? I just bought my FIRST BB last night! I'm so excited, and want to be able to use it with both computers. Is this possible? I have read threads about master and slave PC....but that sounds too techie, racist or definitely something my 65 y/o IT guy could never figure out tomorrow morning. Can I install the disk to my home PC now? Or when I get to work tomorrow will I not be able to use it?
