Default Java.lang.error when using 8800 Phone

Please Login to Remove!

We have numerous Blackberry 8800's at my company that are all experiencing an issue when using the phone function of the device. The problem happens when you use the numeric keypad to dial a #, the device locks up and gives you an error that says: Uncaught exception: java.lang.Error. The device also then begins to emit a loud noise. The only way to get the unit back to normal state is to remove the battery. This problem happens intermittently.

Does anyone know what is causing this error and also if there is a solution for it.

Thanks!
