Default BB7100 Cingular anyone?

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone seen where this 7100 will be avaliable on the Cingular network? It's depressing that one of the largest retailers (Cingular) of the ole' 9/857 etc. is always last to get the latest goods from Blackberry. If the 7100 is not on the horizon, is there an unlock code or someway to accept the Cingular SIM?

I'm thinking there must be some exsclusivity carriers workout with RIM upfront before a launch, before all the carrier come aboard? Same issue here in T.O. seem Rogers, Bell and Telus yet being Canadian get facilitated last? Beyond me...

Cingular shot themselves in the foot a few years ago when they tried to get an exclusive with Good and it failed. It pissed RIM off. T-Mobile jumped in and has been the number one seller of the BB since so they get more of RIMs attention.

Anyway, today cingular has the 7290 exclusively and T-Mobile the 7100 for 60 days, I believe. Look for Cingular to release their version of the 7100 in January and T-Mobile to release the 7290 then as well. BTW, rumor has it that the Cingular version will be like the 7100V, raisde keys and spaced a bit, which I'm looking forward to.
