Default Headsets

I had both the Motorola H-800 and the Plantronics H-655 both unit worked fine for me but people I talked to said the background was very noisy, then I went to the Jawbone and its is really good, no one complains anymore!

After extensive googling and searching on forums, I concluded that the Jawbone was the way to go.

I bought one, and everyone conceeds that the voice quality is greatly improved (background noise minimized). I bought it solely for making lengthy calls to my family. My only gripe, after a month, I still feel like it doesn't quite fit my ear as well as I'd like it to. It was a pain in the grass getting it adjusted to where it is now. I'm tired of tweaking the wire and have settled for "near"-perfection, as far as the fit goes.

It does work well. Plus, AT&T stores have a 30-day return policy, no questions asked, so you can give it a spin for a few weeks and see how you like it. I think I paid $119.99 for mine.

I haven't experienced the fit problems that others have described. Mind you, I've got a Jabra eargel on my Jawbone.

The Jawbone is the best Bluetooth headset I've yet owned.

I appreciate your input. I have never owned a bluetooth headset, and I have read a lot on all different kinds of headsets. I must say that the jawbone has gotten the best reviews according to this forum. I think I am going with the jawbone....I will let you know what I think of it.

again, thanks a lot

I like the Motorola H500 .. It's been around for a while and is rock solid, I have no complaints about background noise. And right now they are clearing them out @ Verizon stores ... Mine was $19.99 (I have owned 3)

I've had about 10 different Motorola, Plantronics and Jabra headsets. Until just recently the Jabra JX 10 was the best......then I bought a Jawbone. it is unbelievably good, especially with noise shield turned on.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I went by a verizon store earlier, they said that they did not have the H500. The only one they had is the H505. They did not have any for 19.99. I am trying to bid on a jawbone on ebay now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, or you can get it at AT&T stores as I mentioned before. I confirmed that it is $119.99 there from my receipt.

Now I need to find a Jabra ear gel.

Default 8830 and blurtooth headset

I have the LG LBT730Z and recently got the Scala 700 to have as a back-up. Both are excellent in sound quality and comfort. The LG is now my back-up as the Scala 700 is much cooler looking.

P.S. The cool locator function on the Scala does not work on BB (bummer) but I still love it.
