Unable to connect to device
I have a 7100g that has recently displayed the 507 error. When I am trying to reload the OS I am unable to connect to the BB. I receive an error stating:
The desktop loader is unable to connect to the device.
You may need to enter the password on the device.
Problem is I have never used a password on my BB and can't figure out how to get past this. On my Desktop Manager window, at the bottom it says disconnected. One last note, I have never had to use my desktop manager and so have never connected to my BB. Also, I have reinstalled the desktop manager, dowloaded a couple of types of OS apps and tried rebooting, etc. So far no luck.
Any ideas on how I can connect?
