Default 8820 wifi problems anyone?

Please Login to Remove!

It took me about 5 hours of talking to AT&T support and playing around with the settings to get wifi to work without a BB data plan. Now it works, but the connection is unstable, I have to reload a page 3 times before it goes through. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone having this same problem?

I have an 8820 that is not even in service yet, without a sim card in, and Wi-Fi works like a charm. I also have a friend that has 2 8820's and both of em work like a charm as well.

You must have some hardware problems with the device.

Try updating it to the latest OS; 4.2.2.175. It's at the top of the 8800 forum.
