Default How to reset demo unit to factory defaults

Please Login to Remove!

I have been demoing an 8830 for my company this past week. I now need to return it but would like to get all of my info and emails out of it and reset it to factory defaults. Is there a way to do this or do I have to manually go through and delete everything? If I have to do it manually how do I remove the email settings?

Go to options - security options - general settings, press the menu key and select wipe handheld, then type in 'blackberry' when prompted

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Go to options>security>clicktrackwheel>wipe handheld. This will remove all of your info!

Also, FYI I"m highly recommending to our company that we go with the 8830. I'm very happy with it. THe only negative is the lack of ability to edit word/excel documents. However it appears when DocumentsToGo is available that will be solved.

BUT, that wipe will not remove all your third party applications you might have installed.

Correct, this will not delete any 3rd party applications you may have on the device. When running the wipe handheld on the 8830 you will be prompted with a check box to delete 3rd party applications, select that box when performing the wipe. Also you will want to remove any BIS accounts you have setup for the device as well.
