Cool How do I view my backup file from my computer desktop

Please Login to Remove!

I backed up my blackberry 8703e recently and now I am trying to view this file from my computer. I do not have a file that supports the content on my windows desktop. I am wondering if there are any files out there that you can use to view/edit my contacts and other content from my desktop? Your help is appreciated

I wasn't aware of anything that could manipulate a .IPD file on the desktop, but a Google found this page:

Black Berry Mobile Device Forensics

which might help. Looking quickly at an IPD file from a non-encrypted Blackberry in a text editor not fazed by binary data, the contact information seems to be in there null-terminated, so getting data out or correcting the odd typo should be feasible, but serious editing much harder.
