7100i Service Books
 

Can someone send me the service books for the nextel 7100i. I have a boost data plan and I am using BB and I need the service books to use the browser, sms amd other features so if anyone wants to share thanks. I can't get the Service books from BB or nextel since I don't have a BB plan.

Nobody can give you the service books. It doesn't work that way. No BB data plan, no BB browser.

even if you had the service books its a no go. you have to have a BB data plan which boost does not.

I have 2 7100i both of them don't have the service books because they were from an enterprise account and were wiped before I got them. I know of someone on another forum who is using his BB with boost mobile and has the service books left on his device since he once had the bb plan on it. He still has the books for "Provisioning," "BBIMConfig" and MMS. I have nothing I can't even use google talk it says service not enabled for this device. It is possible to back up the service books with BB desktop manager so I at least want to try it otherwise 2 7100i up for grabs, iPhone here I come. I can use AIM on my phone and BB messenger works. I have an unlimited data plan from boost also unlimited text messaging. I at least want the browser somewhat functional so that I can view pictures and download files.

If you are willing to purchase an iPhone and the cost of data from AT&T why not just add a Nextel account and set up the 7100 the proper way?

BB 7100i is a nextel phone(Walkie - Talkie need it). The iphone is not iden no walkie talkie. My plan with boost is really good. I get unlimited data ie unlimited wireless web. 300 mins free nite and weekends starting a 7 pm. Unlimited direct connect. free Unlimited text messages 25 cent pic and vid messaging all for ...............$50 nice huh. Did I forget mobile 2 mobile with sprint, nextel and Boost mobile. So if I was to get the iphone I would need to cancel my plan which is no longer being offered for obvious reasons its a damn good deal!!. Also I would need to sell 2 BB 7100i, 1 motorola i875, 1 motorola i415 and 1 BB 7100i store display I bought to switch the housing on one of the BBs. The iphone is great but I am not an ipod guy I am a radio guy so that's like half the features of the phone there that I wouldn't use. The internet is cool on the iphone but I am addicted to my laptop as it is so the less internet I get the better. So if someone wants to take all that junk from me AT&T here I come. In that case I'll be known as AT4AT&T AT being my real initials.

All joking aside I really want to make this work with the 7100i so if anyone wants to send me the service books so I can at least try it pm me or zip them and upload them and send me the DL link. Money is not an issue here I can go to the apple store and buy 10 iphones with my debit card (well actually I can't now, limit to 2 per person damn unlocker people) problem is I don't want to go to bed with AT&T for 2 years, I hate commitments. I got 4 functioning phones that aren't too shabby might as well use them if I can't lose them.

:idea: Ok the question now is, is it possible to back up the service books for the bb7100i for nextel, to the BB desktop manager. If so then someone send it to me I can make this work believe me. I just need the service books. I have a data plan and I am using opera mini as the browser.

it wont work because there is no such thing as boost BB data plan. Give it up.

"Dawg" have you ever owned a 7100i? This is an iden phone. iden phones always have loop holes. I know people who use the internet for free on their Boost Mobile phones ok, I pay for my Boost plan which includes the data. Now there is a way to make the BB browser work as long as I have service books on the phone. Explain to me how others who cancel their nextel service on their 7520 or 7100i and whose service books remain can sms and use the BB apps. and google apps. "Where there is a Will There is a way" For the SMS issue I am developing a program to send and receive txt messages. So if you don't want to help fine but don't tell me it can't be done. And again for the record Boost Mobile does not have a Blackberry data plan, I new that 5 years ago. If you don't want to send me you service books or help there is no reason for you to post because you keep posting the same thing unless you trying to get 9000 posts fast.

iDen phones may have loopholes but the Blackberry doesn't. Good luck with your sms program.

No one ever said the iPhone was unhackable. ANd with each update of the OS, Apple makes the hacked iPhoneys worthless. Well, more worthless.

Also, please tell you me you will be able to get your PIN registered on the relay without data provisioning?

yes I owned 3 of them 3 7520s 1 7510 1 6510. I tried every hack I could find.

And I will post it once more it cant be done. I know what i am talking about i am also a mod on several iden sites.
And for the record I could care less about post count this isnt one of those sites where post counts mean anything.
