Default Which 8707?

I want to switch to the 8707 from the 8700g for UMTS coverage. It's the only way I can think of to stay on the platform and get voice service in Japan and Korea. What is the difference between the 8707c & the 8707v?

If you want UMTS you need the 8707g.

I use the 8707V in Japan with no problems. I understand that any 8707 will work but I've only experienced the 8707V.

Since you didn't say where you live, if you plan to use this in the US, you only get GPRS service.
